Bob Wills

Bob has over 35 years’ experience as an Architect with 30 years in healthcare design. He has played a key role in the delivery of various large-scale mental health and acute health projects. This includes the multi-award-winning Clock View Hospital, which combines architecture and landscape to create a therapeutic environment for recovery. Bob was responsible for securing the high profile, government funded programme, ‘Design for Future Climate Change’. Within a team of academic and industry experts, he explored how architectural design can accommodate the effects of future climate change. Having worked and travelled overseas extensively, Bob has spoken at a variety of international conferences and he was a contributing writer on the Encyclopedia of Vernacular Architecture of the World.
Bob is a Director, leading our London Studio alongside Ruairi Reeves. His interest lies in the use of research and development methodologies to improve the quality of the built environment. He oversees Innovation and Sustainability and is responsible for driving quality within the practice and steering our approach to environmental design. Bob is currently leading a suite of projects to improve facilities for mental health and acute health across the county of Dorset.
