Frank Ellis

Frank has 26 years of architectural experience with 17 years in healthcare design. During this time he has gained extensive expertise in mental health, primary health care and acute health. Frank played a significant role in the design of the multi-award-winning Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre in Hull, which recently won the highly coveted Design for Sustainable Development Award at the European Healthcare Design Awards 2024. He recently completed the RIBA Principal Designer course, supporting our expertise in building design standards.

Frank is an Associate in our Newcastle Studio and has played a role in much of the studio’s output over the last 17 years. He specialises in all aspects of project delivery and technical design, and maintains an oversight on our process and approach to Building Information Modelling. Frank is an RIBA Chartered Member and is currently working on a range of mental health and acute healthcare projects.
