Alex Ferguson

Alex has 3 years’ experience of healthcare design, having completed his professional qualification at Newcastle University. Since joining Medical Architecture, he has gained experience working on a range of projects across the acute health sector, including leading a strategic ward refurbishment at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. He also worked on the New Specialist Hospital Building, a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ addition to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Alex is an Architect in our Newcastle Studio. He is currently working on a number of schemes for Northumbria Healthcare, including the refurbishment of the Day Surgery at Alnwick Infirmary. He is also leading the refurbishment of the Interventional Radiology Department at St James’ University Hospital in Leeds.
