Renee Wong

Renee achieved a First Class degree in Architecture from Newcastle University. Her interest in healthcare architecture began during her final year project, the Redcar Equestrian Centre, a facility designed to provide equine-assisted therapy services. She ensured that the design provided abundant natural light and used natural materials informed by biophilic design theory, in order to help reduce patients’ anxiety levels.

Renee is an Architectural Assistant in our Newcastle Studio. She is skilled in the use of diagrams and other visual elements to communicate ideas effectively. She worked on the New Specialist Hospital Building at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne and is currently part of the team working on the strategic redevelopment of Shotley Bridge Community Hospital in County Durham, in which she is assisting with interior layouts and details.
