Mercan Fazlioglu

Mercan graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA in Architecture. Her final-year work included a Norwegian bathhouse exploring architecture as a sensory, choreographed experience, and a therapy centre investigating adaptive reuse, modular systems, and repair as a design methodology. Through these projects she developed a strong interest in spaces centred on care, wellbeing, and the emotional impact of the built environment.

Mercan is an Architectural Assistant in our London Studio. She is currently helping to develop the concept design for renewal of a young people’s cancer therapy facility in Central London, and working on a programme of improvement for care homes across the UK.
