Hun Pu promoted to Midlands Lead
To ensure that we continue to provide a high-quality service to our clients and partners nationwide, we have promoted Hun Pu to the role of Midlands Lead.
Based in Loughborough, Hun is centrally located to deliver a responsive service to all corners of the Midlands region.
Hun is an experienced healthcare designer and Project Architect with several completed and ongoing projects in the region. This includes the concept design for two new integrated care hubs in Staffordshire, and the delivery of a sustainable new-build community diagnostic centre in Herefordshire. Elsewhere, Hun played a leading role in the concept design for Shotley Bridge Community Hospital, a project prioritised in Wave 1 of the NHS New Hospital Programme.
Hun will continue to develop new and existing relationships with Trusts in the region as well as supporting the network of contractors, consultants, and suppliers that contribute to our work locally.

As a practice, we have a long history of designing healthcare buildings for NHS clients in the Midlands. One of our earliest commissions, in 1991, was from the East Birmingham District Health Authority for the Little Bromwich Assessment Unit in Birmingham. Later projects include three new facilities for inpatient services at Highcroft Hospital, for North Birmingham Mental Health Trust, completed in 2002.
In recent years, we have developed close relationships with several Trusts in the region, across acute health, community health and mental health, resulting in work from strategic estate planning to building design. This includes a regional estate strategy and business case development project for Midlands Partnership NHS Trust and the soon-to-be-completed Wye Valley Diagnostic Centre in Hereford, for Wye Valley NHS Trust.

Hun’s appointment as Midlands Lead will enable to us to build on the body of work we have developed and delivered in the region, strengthening existing relationships and forging productive new partnerships. Hun has proved to be a talented architect with real leadership qualities and is the ideal person to lead the efforts of our outstanding team.
