Cassie Burgess-Rose

Cassie has 6 years of architectural experience having worked on a wide range of public sector schemes. Prior to this, she completed her architectural education at Newcastle University, with First Class Honours. Her architectural interests include experiential design which has been the focus of much of her academic research.

Cassie is a Senior Architect in our Newcastle Studio. She is a member of our sustainability working group, researching and integrating environmentally sustainable design into our work processes. To help inform this work she is studying for an MSc in ‘Adaptation and Sustainability in the Built Environment’ with the Centre for Alternative Technology, in association with University of East London. Cassie is also an Engagement Representative for the RIBA Young Architectural Practitioner’s Forum, a initiative which provides opportunity for young architects in the North East to meet and share knowledge. She is currently working on the New Specialist Hospital Building, a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ addition to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne.
