Covid-19 Pandemic Update: Medical Architecture now working from home

In response to the recent advice given on the 16th March by the Prime Minister, Professor Chris Whitty and Sir Patrick Vallance, our staff have begun working at home. We remain attentive to all advice given by the government and Public Health England, and are prepared for whichever measures they deem necessary to suppress the spread of Covid-19.

To ensure the continuity of how we operate as a company, we have made further new arrangements in addition to those stated previous:

  • All of our staff are contactable via mobile throughout working hours. If you don’t have the number of the staff member you wish to speak to, please email info@medicalarchitecture.com and we will send you their number once we have received permission from the individual.
  • We will be restricting all travel, and in the instance that travel is necessary to fulfil the demands of a bid or project, we will arrange for staff to travel one at a time while taking precautions to avoid peak times. Our staff will suggest alternative arrangements for long distance travel or any meetings which require international air travel.
  • In the instance of a lockdown on London or Newcastle, we are fully prepared to continue our provision of service as normal, with remote desktop access enabling staff to access specialist design software such as Revit, and multiple layers of communication systems in place to ensure the company continues to operate effectively.
